Special Bathroom Cleaner Blend

Hello Everyone,

Thought I would share my findings this morning. I dowsed for the best oils to use to combat mold in my bathroom. I've been using eucalyptus e.o. I am getting ready to clean our downstairs bathroom, which is a very, very dated bath... Anyway, I was told to create a Green Mandarin & Lemon E.O. blend for cleaning. Should smell nice & fresh when I'm done! ...and eliminate unwanted bacteria to boot!

11/22- 11th day check in

just checking in on the 11th day of cleanse for me started the parasite cleanse AFTER a week of restraining from putting parasites IN via coffee, sugar, caffeine, fats, processed foods, etc. got thru the 3 day headache with a great coffee substitute Technicho from Freddies chickory nut Vanilla nut flavor (organic) from Freddies.Since i am constantly traveling for my job this has meant bringing food-carrots/apples/nuts/granola and miso soup that i can pull out when some variation of corn syrup is offered-and drinking water has helped so much!
there have been angels at my weakest moments. I seemed to get thru the addiction and habit part ok but the social part is challenging but there is always at least one person changing eating habits as well (one guy said he had been in the ER for what he thought was a heart attack the week before who joined me in solidarity against the flourescent birthday ice cream an cake) Healing symptoms seem to be acne (treated with tea tree)and the Eucalyptus oil-inhaling at least twice a day- is what i think healed my seemed to be approaching bronchitis without antibiotics. And snorting saline with 2 teaspoons of liquied sea salt. Also a warm mist humidifier used as a mister.
just feeling extra tired with the core food fasting and rice. Peppermint in water is a great energizer vs. coffee. Also a family member uses a drop of this every day in water for a skin rash she no longer has had that she credits the peppermint E.O.
-THANKS FOR LISTENING!thanks so much for this group and this space!
(ps -i use geranium E.O. for deoderant Vicki)

Update with my Cleanse

I thought I would share what I've been experiencing while on this cleanse. It's actually been mostly easy - and I'm pleasantly surprised with that. I have found that the few times I have gotten the "tireds" I would go into my sacred space, if only for five minutes, and come out feeling energized again. I have been also experiencing headaches off and on. Mostly, I wake up at 3-4 a.m. with them. I do some energy work with my healing helpers, and it seems to bring down the pressure. Most times I fall back asleep - other times, my mind starts to wander. Of course, lots going on these days with holiday preparations for the store. All in all, I'm pretty pleased....

oh, almost forgot :0} I am also proud to say I have not craved sugar - which REALLY surprises me & EXCITES me! Only one time did I "feel" I needed it - and I had a lot on my plate that day. I was very conservative and had only one maple sugar flower (they're little). lol I feel that's a pretty good record for me!

Funky Monkey!

LOL :0) I've gotta ask.... Does anyone know of a good all-natural, organic deodorant/anti perspirant that will last more then two hours? I really don't like smelling like a Funky Monkey! :0}

Oil successes!

I just returned home from working out of town for 5 days, and will be starting the parasite cleanse on Saturday. I am beginning the first 7 days with a colon fast which requires some preparation, so I have to wait until I have a day I can "take off." Several of my clients are also doing the parasite cleanse, so there is quite a big group of us participating.

On an essential oils note, I have had some great successes I wanted to share. One of my clients suddenly started to get boils, very, very infected, huge, and painful boils which she first attempted to  treat with antibiotics. In addition to the antibiotics, she had to get the boils drained several times at the hospital. This reoccurred for 3 months. I finally made her a therapeutic (4%) blend with essential oils, and she has not had another one in 3 or 4 months.

Another client has had cold sores, or herpes around her mouth, most of her life. Hers flare up regularly, especially when she is stressed. After 4 years of seeing her (for other things), I finally thought to make her a topical oil blend, again in a 4% dilution, for her to apply as soon as she thought one was coming up. I believe she was also using our Tea Tree oil, pure, in addition to the blend I made her. After a month and a half, she told me yesterday that since she started using the products, her cold sores have completely dried up and were not able to develop - a first! Now I am interested in figuring out an internal blend to hopefully eradicate the virus from her system. I have heard this is possible, so would love to know if anyone has had success with this.

My recipes for these two blends are written down in my notes, which I don't have with me at the moment. If anyone is interested, I will be happy to share.

Day Four

Hi Mary,

I welcome your participation with open heart! :O) This is day four for us - how are you doing? I've been feeling great!! I did have one episode of the "tireds" and all I really wanted to do was go lay on the Biomat table. Then someone came to be on it, and just the short time I spent with her in the room making preparations... I had received enough "juju" that when I walked out, my energy had returned. Amazing. Now I know I don't need a nap, just to go sit for a few minutes in my sacred room. :0)

I was also able to take today off and just chill for the first time in a long time (sans laundry and cooking). I made a huge pot of soup with cabbage, carrots, celery, zucchini, etc. yum!

As they say on Star Wars, "Use the Force, Luke". LOL Peace! Vicki

Parasite cleanse...

Hi everyone,
There are several people who have decided to join us in a 3-month parasite cleanse using essential oils. I won't be able to start until next Tuesday due to travel plans, but I encourage everyone who starts this week to please keep us updated on the blog about your experiences. Parasite cleansing can be challenging, and I am curious to hear about how differently it effects each of us. Thanks, and looking forward to being parasite-free :)

Thursday, November 4, 2010

Hi Rebecca, I will join you on the 3 month parasite cleanse. I am going to start with the drop formula for 28 days and then do the wormwood formula. I am going to encourage Raquel and also my brother Frank to join in. I believe he has a brain infestation and that is a big part of his problems. He is afraid of wormwood so I will have to work with him to see what he will agree to take and manage to be consistent with. I am hoping this cleanse or series of cleanses will be a huge shift for him.

Parasite cleanse, anyone?

I just got off the phone with my sister Rachel, asking her if she wanted to commit to a 3 month long parasite cleanse with me. The reason I asked her to join me is because the past 2 years that I've done one (only for one month), I've gotten unusually depressed, dark, irritable, and angry. Even though I understand that my moods are directly related to parasites dying off, it has still been rough emotionally. These types of things are always easier to go through when you have someone to share them with.

I'm wondering if anyone else out there would like to join us, so that we can all share our experiences together? We will be using the new recipe Kathryn is offering on her website, the Parasite Free Drops, and will be adding 1 drop of wormwood to the formula (I think...I still need to dowse to see if it will be one drop or a more diluted version), and possibly neem. We're not quite sure when we'll be starting, likely sometime next week. I'll offer the exact recipe I come up with as soon as I have it.

Neem

I am a research junkie and recently stumbled upon everything Neem and thought I would share the link: http://www.neemfoundation.org.

Oils to the Rescue

The experience I am about to share is a bit personal, but I feel it is important that I share it because I believe that these experiences are really what the blog is for.

Last night, I was dealing with an extreme episode of flatulence. Due to the severity, Rebecca decided that I needed to combat my problem with essential oils. So...since my case was EXTREME, she decided to use essential oils of anise, fennel, and peppermint. In a teaspoon of maple syrup, Rebecca gave me 2 drops anise, 2 drops fennel, and 1 drop peppermint...with a tall glass of spring water to chase it all down.

Immediately, I felt the oils slowly permeate throughout my throat and upper torso. At this point, my gas was very frequent and intense. Within 5 to 10 minutes, I felt the oils moving down into my stomach and digestive tract. After only 15 to 20 minutes, I noticed that my gas was beginning to subside a bit, both in frequency and quantity.

Within 30 minutes, I felt the oils throughout my entire abdomen. After less than an hour, my gas had decreased from a very large amount about every 5 minutes, to just a small amount every 15 to 20 minutes. This was amazing. I went to bed that night free of gas and enjoyed a good nights sleep.

I had taken anise before on many occasions, but never really listened and observed to determine if and how much it really helped. This time, the relief the oils gave me was very apparent and undeniable.

Thanks to Reeb and the essential oils for their help.

Essential Oil Cocktail

Greetings All!

Thank you Rebecca for creating this Buyer's Club blog! I am so happy to have a place to share and learn with other co-creators and essential oil enthusiasts. I admit that for me it is almost like a religion. I feel tremendous personal power knowing I can heal myself with the oils, guidance and dowsing. Recently I caught myself. I was conversing with a local spiritual and herbal medicine teacher that mentioned that she had become ill and was using antibiotics. I was so shocked and disappointed that I was at a loss for words when the answer could have been so simple: "Essential oils are powerful antibiotics and at the same time build your body rather than compromise it."

Just last night I was laughing to myself about being an "essential oil cocktail"! Presently I have many oil dilutions that I am using to attend to various facets of my healing, regeneration and ascension. With recent swollen discs I added even more oil treatments. Normally I spread out the use of them throughout the day. But I had neglected it all day. Lately, I have been using Frankincense as an ascension oil on my solar plexus; a blend of cypress, cayenne and tea tree on a toe fungus; an inflammation blend and rose geranium for the swollen discs at L4-L5, L5- Sacrum; and a juniper berry homeopathic internally along with a rock rose compress on my bladder for a bladder infection that created my swollen disc. I also have a blend for aligning my energy so the plate in my wrist from surgery aligns with my life purpose connected to future automatic drawing and another treatment for healing my vision. Whew! This is more than I am usually working on at one time. It was late and I was tired. Since I had neglected to use them all day I dowsed to see if I could put all on (except the last 2 I forgot till later!) and get in the bath for driving in the oils. I got a yes so I did it. There I was in the hot bath: an essential oil cocktail! I am wondering if this is as effective as segregating their use throughout the day. It was definitely faster. Usually I soak my foot in a bowl of hot water, etc..... I wold appreciate any thoughts or guidance out there. Thanks!!

Simplify with a Spreadsheet

Using a spreadsheet will be beneficial when determining the cost of different quantities of oils (drop, 2 dram, 5ml, 15ml...etc.)  Once you input the proper formulas for one oil,  you can then copy the formulas for the rest of you oils and just enter the different purchase price of each oil.  This is a great way to breakdown the cost of any ingredients you may purchase in bulk.  Takes a little time in the beginning, but saves you so much down the road. Enjoy making your products.

Pricing your products

We received a question today about how we come up with pricing for our products, and I thought I'd write a general answer here, to the best of my ability. With essential oils, we have found that though it takes a little bit of time, it is best to come up with a price per drop for each essential oil, especially if you are creating blends and dilutions. Oil prices vary so much, and fluctuate in price from year to year. For example, grapefruit oil can be about $.05/drop, and rose is well over $1/drop. If you are putting 33 drops of rose oil into an 8 oz. blend for someone, that is over $33 just in rose essential oil, not including bottle, label, base oil, and other oils you might add. We have all of our oils organized in a very nice database (thanks to Roy) showing our cost per drop, per 2.5 ml, 5ml, 15ml, etc. so that when I am creating new blends for people, I have a really good idea of what the cost is. We also have all of our bases (jojoba oil, skin cream, etc.) calculated to the ounce.  Of course, you'll also want to consider your bottle & label costs. Again, this does take some time, but it so worth it! And speaking of labels, we have also had several questions about where we get ours. We print our own, and purchased the equipment from a company called Primera. It was a little spendy, and I'm curious what everyone else out there is using?

Here is a quick chart with estimated drops of oil per different sized bottles, so that you can do your own calculations at home:

1 ml = 20 drops
5 ml = 1 teaspoon = 100 drops
10 ml = 2 tsp = 200 drops
15 ml = 1 Tablespoon = 300 drops
30 ml = 1 ounce = 2 Tablespoons = 600 drops

1 ounce bottle = 600 drops
2 ounce bottle = 1200 drops
4 ounce bottle = 2400 drops
8 ounce bottle = 4800 drops

I hope this helps, and would love to hear what others are doing.
I'm excited to have the opportunity to work co-creatively with other BC members. Thank you Rebecca! I often find myself going back to the idea that plant technology is the most powerful technology on the planet at this time, and I continue to experience deeper levels of trust and healing using oils. Can't imagine life without them.

Hurray!

I am honored to be a part of this group, I have knowledge in essential oils for personal use but new to this group and to working with them on a grander level. I am excited to share and experience all that is available and thrilled at the opportunity to grow and learn. Thank you for this space of sharing, I look forward to many stories. Michelle
Though I am fairly new to the world of essential oils, I have learned that they are extremely powerful and their uses are endless. Thanks to my girlfriend Rebecca Meyers and my experiences at DiamondHeart, I have been introduced to a whole new way of life and oils have played a major part. Looking forward to exploring all the ways in which essential oils can be used in everyday life.

Welcome!

I have been wanting to create a space where all of us in the Buyer's Club could come together to share with each other about oils. I have many books on essential oils and aromatherapy, but I find the personal success stories of my own friends and fellow aromatherapists to be the most inspiring. My intention for this blog is for us to be able to communicate with one another about essential oils, to be able to ask questions or for advice (for ex: "I just woke up with a swollen throat...help!"), and to share our own experiences, recipes, and even our not-so-successful stories about oils. I know that every time I have something amazing happen with essential oils, I want to share it with everyone, and am equally excited when I hear stories from others.

I am a passionate, essential oil enthusiast, and yes, certified aromatherapist too. I know that oils will always be a huge part of my life, and I hope that this blog makes it easy for us all to grow and learn together.
